Back by popular demand, United Way of Mid Coast Maine is gathering information from community groups and organizations about items that they or their clients need for the Spring Wish List. For the first time we will be using VolunteerMaine's DonationsLink to compile the both the items needed and list items that individuals and businesses have available for donation to agencies. If you have participated in the past, you know that the Wish List is compiled from the information at the site and sent to businesses, community groups, the media, and interested individuals. United Way of Mid Coast Maine will also use this information throughout the year to help match volunteers with appropriate agencies and projects.
Participation is easy! All you need is to:
The Wish List provides a unique opportunity for your organization to inform community members about ways that they can help you in fulfilling your mission and programs. The Wish List is mailed to over 800 businesses, organizations, individuals, in addition to the local newspapers which print information from the Wish List along with a press release. Publicize your needs for volunteers and donations and at the same time! And it's all FREE!
