Virginia Tech created a new volunteer program called VT-ENGAGE to encourage volunteerism and enhance the relationship and partnership efforts between the university and the community.
United Way and VT-Engage are community partners in an effort to match volunteers with organizations needing volunteer help by utilizing an online system called Volunteer Solutions. You can use Volunteer Solutions to find volunteer opportunities and/or post the volunteer needs of your group.

Special Event Booth Coordination
Volunteer Opportunity Details:
We need volunteers to plan, manage and man our special event booths. We participate in a variety of events in the NRV and Roanoke. The volunteer should have an interest in marketing and public relations and possess the ability to speak to people who may visit our booth requesting information about Warm Hearth Village. Training will be provided and will give volunteers the information they need to talk intelligently about what is offered at Warm Hearth Village.
