Volunteer Opportunity Details:

We are pleased to be offering our very popular Special Olympics Unified Sports Leagues again this winter and spring. These programs are a cooperative effort of the Blacksburg Parks and Recreation Department, NRV Superbowl, IDA of NRV (Leisure Directions) and Special Olympics. Unified Sports is an exciting program that brings together athletes with and without intellectual disabilities on teams where all are challenged to improve their skills. Participants develop friendships and an understanding of each others capabilities through a spirit of equality and team unity. All leagues need players and officials. All ability levels are welcome!
