Virginia Tech created a new volunteer program called VT-ENGAGE to encourage volunteerism and enhance the relationship and partnership efforts between the university and the community.
United Way and VT-Engage are community partners in an effort to match volunteers with organizations needing volunteer help by utilizing an online system called Volunteer Solutions. You can use Volunteer Solutions to find volunteer opportunities and/or post the volunteer needs of your group.
Volunteers: We encourage you to register and complete a volunteer profile so you can receive email alerts about opportunities you would like. Click here to register.

We need volunteers to help us with volunteer registration and help during our tutor trainings and in-services. This is a great way to see and experience the pre and post work involved in trainings.
Pleasant personality, good handwriting, organized, dress appropriately during training,and attention to detail.
