Volunteer Opportunity Details:

Volunteers are needed to deliver Familywize prescription discount cards to local agencies, medical offices, and pharmacies. The Familywize prescription discount cards help individuals and families save an average of 35% on medications. The program is targeted towards people in out community without health insurance and with the over 10,000 appointments taken a year at the Free Clinic, your service will impact many throughout our community.
The materials require minimal assembly and then simply need to be taken to various locations where you will briefly explain their purpose before leaving them with the proper authority. All the necessary information about the prescription discount cards will be provided and locations will all be within the New River Valley.

Volunteers need to have their own transportation and be comfortable enough with the Familywize prescription discount program to answer basic questions. Again, all this information will be provided beforehand.
