Elim Park provides quality services in a Christ-centered environment, and it's primary charitable purpose is to provide a Christian home with necessary medical facilites for the care of the elderly. Our healthcare center offers three levels of care: Short-term rehab, assisted living, and skilled nursing care.
History:
Elim Park was founded in 1906 as a rest home for the Swedish Baptist in Shelton, CT. In the 1950's, Elim Park purchased 38 acres in Cheshire, and became the Home for the Aged. Eventually, Elim Park developed the nursing home, and in 1984 continued the expansion with it's first of six independent apartment buildings aimed for continuing care for adults 60 years and older.
