Nurturing Connections Volunteers Volunteer Opportunity Details: Last updated on July 8, 2009 The Nurturing Families Program, through the Community Health Center of Meriden is looking for volunteers to help first time parents in the Meriden and Wallingford area. Volunteers will call first time parents once a week to provide emotional support, educational materials and referrals to other services in the community. Volunteers are also needed to co-facilitate parenting/children's groups. We provide training and flexible schedules!
