Calling All Knitters And Quilters - Knit/ Quilt For Soldiers

If you're a knitter or a quilter, our soldiers need you.
Knitters are needed to make 100% wool scarves and helmetliners for soldiers serving in Afghanistan and Iraq. Thousands or men and women are serving in areas that experience extreme cold in the winter and heat in the summer. Please consider making helmetliners, scarves, and/or neck coolers.
Quilters can help keep wounded soldiers being transported to the USA on cargo planes, which do not have heat, warm. We want our wounded to feel love and healing in every stitch. These quilts are fitted for stretchers and gurneys.
