Did you know that the HOPE Festival is a wonderful place to find out about what people in the Eastern Maine communities and organizations are doing to support peace, social justice, and environmental quality?
The 15th annual HOPE (Help Organize Peace Earthwide) Festival, sponsored by the Peace & Justice Center of Eastern Maine, will be held Saturday, April 25th in Orono. The event runs from 10 AM to 4 PM at the Student Recreation Center on the University of Maine Campus in Orono. With food from a variety of organizations, entertainment, thoughtful presentations, and the opportunity for each person to share their hopes and dreams, this year's program is stacking up to be very exciting. Volunteers are needed in a number of roles, including: o o o o * set-up for the festival from 7-10 AM
* clean-up from 4-6 PM
* staff Peace & Justice food table
