Give, Sort, Distribute, Be A Part Of PROPS Give Away Day!

People's Regional Opportunity Program (PROP) will be hosting a Give Away Day on Saturday, October 10th from 10:00am-2:00pm at Parkside Neighborhood Center on 85 Grant St. in Portland. They will be collecting the following items: clothing, household goods, books and baby items. Give Away Day takes more than just one day to make possible and PROP needs your help preparing and hosting the event. Donations can be dropped off and will only be accepted on Thursday October 8th and Friday October 9th between 9:00am and 5:00pm. PROP needs volunteers to sort, fold and organize donations on these days from noon-6/7:00pm. You can also join PROP on Give Away Day to help with set-up, distribution and clean-up. Volunteers will be needed on October 10 from 9:00am-3:00pm. Help the families in Portland receive the basic needs they are struggling to acquire! Spread the word! |
