ASSE offers international student exchange opportunities for youth ages 15-18.

Description:
Exchange opportunities are available worldwide with ASSE. Through our inbound program, families in the United States have the opportunity to host an international student for 3 months, 1 semester, or an academic year. American high school students can study abroad through our outbound program.

There are 3 regional offices - Eastern, Midwestern, and Western and the National Office in Laguna Beach, California. Dozens of Area Coordinators within each region oversee hundreds of Area Representatives who work out of their homes to secure host families for inbound students and assist high school students in applying to go abroad with the program.

History:
At present, ASSE works closely with the Canadian provincial education ministries and is approved by the Ministry of Education in New Zealand. ASSE maintains 38 offices in 31 countries and accommodates more than 30,000 high school age students and host families annually in its programs in the participating countries.
