Planned Parenthood of Greater Iowa (PPGI) provides quality accessible reproductive health care and education services to more than 50,000 women each year.

Services include annual exams, pap smears, colposcopy (cervical cancer screening), pregnancy testing, HIV testing, smoking cessation programs, family planning services, prenatal care, adoption services and pregnancy termination services. In addition PPGI provides sexual assault treatment, LGBT (lesbian, gay, bi-sexual and transgendered) health care, and smoking cessation programs. PPGI is committed to providing quality health care services to all in need regardless of their ability to pay.

PPGI also provides statewide sexuality education programs with a commitment to ensuring all educational offerings are age appropriate, accurate and scientifically based.

PPGI serves 85 Iowa counties and three Illinois counties through 17 medical centers, an education and resource center and regional educator.
