When the Central Library opened in April of 2006 many organizations called for tours of the new library. The Des Moines Public Library continues to have requests for group tours. If your are a person who feels comfortable giving group tours please contact us.

Training for this consists of joining a tour group with the current volunteer when a tour becomes available. Volunteers are only called when needed. Tours may consist of various age groups. Please let us know if you prefer adult tours only.
