RSVP volunteers will engage in activities that contribute to the preparation of their community's residents for disaster situations. These activities may include assembling disaster kits, operating disaster drills, assembling "go bags", checking emergency alert systems, and collecting/distributing emergency communication devices.

Volunteers may also help facilitate activities in The Volunteer Reception Center.

Training will be provided.

Background checks may be required.
