Volunteer Opportunity Details:

We're looking to have volunteers from West Des Moines, Urbandale and Des Moines sign up to teach approximately 10 fair housing training sessions to various groups in the Des Moines metro area.



In recent years, research has shown that knowledge and understanding of federal, state and local fair housing laws have significantly decreased. The unfortunate result of this decrease in awareness is that there's a greater likelihood that housing discrimination goes unnoticed. With your help, we can make a drastic impact on this situation and improve human rights for all citizens of the greater Des Moines area.
