Volunteer Opportunity Details:
The "Patterns of Living " American Indian Culture program will be offered to students in grades K-3 on Dec. 1-4. Presenters are needed for the numerous 20 minute workshops in this program for all four days. There will be an orientation and training on Friday Nov. 13 from 10 am to 11:30 am. Additional training will be given as needed. Workshops include making clay pinch pots, Iowa animals, resources and environment and Indian life. This is a great opportunity for retired educators, university education students or people who are used to working and speaking with students. Training will be offered on Nov. 13.
