Volunteer Opportunity Details:

Every 3 months, battle flags are rotated from display at the State Capitol and placed back in storage at the State Historical Building.
Volunteers are needed to help move flags and assist the Battle Flag restoration team. The rotation will be photographed. Any volunteer will appear in a permanent photographic record of the event.These images may be used on the web, educational materials, handouts and brochures.

The volunteers must be able to lift 50 lbs, walk on cement, carry 50 lbs while walking up steps, follow detailed instruction in object handling and be handy with tools (screw driver, electric drill, & security straps.)
