Volunteer Opportunity Details:

Volunteer theater guides lead school groups to inter-active workshops after performances. They also help the workshop presenters. Friendly, outgoing people are needed who enjoy working with children and arts and culture. Volunteer docents give tours of the exhibits. Training is received upon request. In Oct. 2009, there is a play on Iowa history. In Nov, 2007, there are Ice Age programs. In December, there are programs on American Indian culture for younger children.

There is a lot of standing and walking and working with bouncy children. You will have a schedule to follow as you lead groups to their workshops.
