Volunteer Opportunity Details:
Would your organization, business, club or school group like to spend time outdoors beautifying a county park, wildlife area, or trail? Polk County Conservation Board could use your help to manage over 10,000 acres of public land. Adopt-A-Park volunteers team up with a park ranger to conduct various park improvements such as trash removal, painting, seed collection, plantings, and much more. Volunteer responsibilities are age specific and based on interest and need. Volunteer groups may select a park or trail that is conveniently located near their business, church, school, etc. Groups are normally required to sign up for a one year commitment.
