Volunteer Opportunity Details:

The Lewisville Convention and Visitors Bureau has openings for a volunteer office assistant. The Lewisville Convention and Visitors Bureau department has several areas of responsibility. The first area is to educate visitors about Lewisville and the attractions and hotels in and around Lewisville. This is done by mailing out information and by greeting visitors as they stop by the Visitors Information Center. Another duty is planning, organizing and executing festivals for the city. The Bureau also works with local business and attractions to make sure we have information to pass out to visitors. The volunteer office assistant would help to greet visitors, answer the telephone, prepare information mail-outs about Lewisville and help staff prepare for upcoming festivals.

Volunteer must be outgoing, friendly, and be able to multi-task. There will on the site office training on task needed to complete. The volunteer needs to have transportation to and from the Visitors Information Center.

This volunteer position is open on Monday-Friday from 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.
