Volunteer Opportunity Details:

Special Programs For Aging Needs (SPAN) is in dire need of volunteers to deliver Meals On Wheels around the Denton area to the elderly and disabled. Volunteers meet at the Denton Senior Center on Bell Avenue at 10am each weekday to pickup and then deliver a daily meal to SPAN clients in need. Volunteers can volunteer for one or more days each week.

Serve the community of Denton County by becoming a Meals On Wheels Volunteer. As a Meals on Wheels Volunteer, you have the opportunity to brighten someone's day while delivering to them the essential daily need of a nutritious meal. 1 hour of your time is all it takes.

Valid Texas Driver License.
Valid Vehicle Insurance

A background check is conducted on all volunteers.
