Our motto is, "Helping Families-Improving Neighborhoods". We seek to do this primarily by helping to provide opportunities for people to become home-owners, by helping home-owners with repairs that allow them to stay in their homes, and by providing financial training that empowers consumers.

Description:
LaCasa uses volunteer and contracted laborers to renovate buildings. We provide financial and Home Ownership classes. We administer matching savings programs. We manage affordable rental units. We offer Immigration counseling. We empower neighborhoods by helping to bring together neighborhood associations.

History:
LaCasa began in 1970. We have evolved from a consortium of churches to an incorporated non-profit agency. Our mission is much as it began: to provide housing opportunities for people in need.
