This is an opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of women and children of domestic violence. Statistics show that a woman will return to an abusive situation an average of seven (7) times before she breaks free of the cycle of abuse. You have an opportunity to help provide support, encouragement and resources to victims of domestic violence to help ease their transition to live a life free from abuse. Volunteers must be at least 18 years old. They must fill out a Volunteer Application, undergo a background check and go through a training on the cycle of domestic violence. All Volunteer Applicants must be non-judgmental. This opportunity is sponsored by: IFiT:individuals & Families In Transition
