Weed And Seed Mentor Program
The Weed and Seed Mentor Program shares a vision with other neighboring agencies, that the Segundo Barrio can once again flourish. Our mission is to focus on the youth in the Segundo Barrio by nurturing an atmosphere that promotes excelling in education, sports,volunteerism, arts and culture.
Description:
Weed and Seed Mentor Program is in its first year but is determined to make the kids in the Segundo Barrio our future leaders. Tutors are available for participants and mentors are on site daily to provide support and be a positive influence. The Armijo Recreation Center is now the Segundo Barrio's Safe Haven where kids can come hang out in a safe, friendly, positive environment.
