As a volunteer you will be exposed to our professional nursing staff which might inspire you to choose a career in the healthcare field. You will have the opportunity to engage with our frail elderly and our clinic staff. You will socialize with our participants, supply them with reading material or a blanket and perhaps relay information to other departments. Your role as a clinic monitor will help our staff to speed up the waiting time for our participants. Volunteer will complete a volunteer application, agree to background/reference checks, TB/Drug tests (Bienvivir pays), mandatory 6 hour orientation/training(s), 40 hour flexible commitment,some knowledge of healthcare helpful and the ability to follow oral and written instructions. When getting off I-10 take the Copia or Piedras exit and go north until you hit McKinley Street turn left go up to the stop lights and keep going straight up the mountain. This road also leads to the tramway, but we are before the tramway. We are directly across the apartments to the left side you will see the Bienvivir sign.
