Volunteer Opportunity Details:
| Last updated on October 29, 2009 |
The kids in the Segundo Barrio are eager to learn about a world outside of their neighborhood. Everything closes early in this part of the city, except for the Armijo Recreation Center. If you're interested in making a difference in a child's life, in the poorest neighborhood in El Paso, come to the center and share what you've got. If you're a poet, a musician, an artist, a scientist a positive human being, we've got the perfect venue for you! Come by and make someone's day a little more interesting. Be a mentor! We are a certified organization under the Presidential Volunteer Service Award! Volunteer here and we will work to get you a medal! For more info: presidentialserviceawards.gov or call Corine at 915-544-5436
