The James City Volunteer Rescue Squad provides emergency medical services for the upper end of James City County

Description:
The J.C.V.R.S. has three advanced life support ambulances, a quick response SUV and a heavy duty rescue truck that are staffed by volunteers and paid professionals. Along with the James City County Fire Department and the James City-Bruton Volunteer Fire Department we provide emergency medical services to the citizens and tourists of our area.

History:
The JCVRS has been providing service to James City County since 1957.
