We are a natinonally recognized maritime museum. Our mission is to educate the world about maritime history of Hampton Roads and the Chesapeake Bay.

Description:
The Mariners Museum is the home of the USS Monitor Center, which preserve through our conservation department, one of the most important artifacts of the Civil War, the Monitor Turret.

History:
The Mariners Museum was founded in 1930, by Archer and Anna Hyatt Huntington. We have 3,000 years of maritme history to offer to the world.
