The Colonial Virginia Chapter of the American Red Cross is actively seeking volunteers to become Certified "Health & Safety Instructors." All volunteers must be currently certified in "CPR/First Aid." Red Cross Health and Safety Instructors train and certify numerous local citizens in Adult/Child/Infant CPR; Automated Electronic Defibrillation (AED); First Aid; Lifeguarding; Swimming; Sports Safety Training for Coaches; Disease Transmission; and Babysitting. These courses help make our community a healthier, safer place to live. Volunteers must be willing to pay for and attend a training course.
