Mental Health Association
Our mission is to promote mental health wellness through advocacy, education, research and service. It assists a diverse population with a main focus on clients with a mental illness and/or addictions and the physically and mentally challenged.
Description:
The agency serves approximately 1000 people per month through different programs such as Social Club, Widows and Panic/Anxiety groups, Advocacy and our Befriend program. Special programs such as "Thumbody" which targets 2nd graders and Sandwich Board series and the Christmas Gift Lift reach out to the community throughout the year.
History:
Mental Health America has been part of the Howard County Community since 1951 and is one of 62 Indiana Chapters.
