Our mission is to provide free help to people in Howard county who are elderly, ill or disabled.

Description:
Samaritan Caregivers is a faith based, nonprofit, United Way agency that provides free services to people in Howard County who are elderly, ill, or disabled.

Some of these individuals have limited resources but want to continue living independently with dignity and quality of life. Often this is possible only because a volunteer from Samaritan Caregivers is able to drive them to doctor's appointments, help get groceries, stop by to visit, or stay with a homebound family member so their caregiver can get out of the house.

History:
Since 1997, Samaritan Caregivers volunteers have been making a difference. Our volunteers help about 200 people each year, logging over 7100 hours of community service in 2006.

Take Lincoln Road to Berkley, turn south and enter office complex on right. The office is toward the back of the building.
