To preserve and develop the North Idaho Centennial Trail System and promote non-motorized trail connectivity throughout North Idaho

Description:
The North Idaho Centennial Trail Foundation oversees, maintains, and improves the 24 miles of trail as well as the 4.25 miles of the Prairie Trail. We place interpretive signs, benches, picnic tables, restrooms,and other amenities along the trail. We also maintain the integrity of the trail with paving, tree root removal, slurry coating, and repaving when necessary.

History:
In 2010 the North Idaho Centennial Trail Foundation will celebrate it's 20th year. The Olmstead Brothers Landscape Architects had the vision of a trail along the river linking Spokane and Coeur d'Alene in the early 1900's.
