PPM-AFW exists to minister to women and their children who are in need.

Description:
We are a non-profit, faith-based program and offer women on-going support, locate local resources, provide guidance & personal accountability and assist them in achieving their long-term goals. We offer a 24/7 telephone helpline, victim services and advocacy, education on Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault, ongoing support groups, annual educational seminars, direct involvement with local businesses and churches, referrals to Legal Aid and local counselors and "Ruth's House" a women's and children's emergency shelter.

History:
We have been in operation since 2002. We began with support group classes and trainings and just opened our emergency women's and children's shelter on May l8th 2009.
