Volunteer Opportunity Details:

The Volunteer Committee facilitates effective use of the talents and efforts of our volunteers and ensures the organization’s volunteer-related needs are filled.
The committee contacts volunteers to fill positions, deliver news, and get information. It also matches appropriate volunteers to open positions and upcoming events, keeps information about the volunteer pool updated, and helps plan volunteering events.
Scheduling is flexible. Committee members can work just once a week for a few hours, or volunteer more time if they wish.

Some of the committee's activities require the use of a computer, for things such as entering and looking up volunteer information and delivering e-mail.
Comfort with contacting individuals by phone will be helpful.
