Volunteer Opportunity Details:

TESH is looking for artists and musicians to share their talents with our clients during a one to two hour special guest presentation. Whether you are a painter, sculptor, weaver, actor, guitar player, drummer, singer, or otherwise talented, we would love to have you show our clients the wonders of your passion. The audience would include 20-30 individuals in a large classroom setting.

Best case scenario would include an interactive portion of your presentation. For example, if you are a painter, we would supply the materials so that our clients could also paint. But at the very least, interested individuals or groups could simply come and play, paint, act, draw, and or sing for our clients.

We strive to provide our clients with the resources so that they may be independent and contribute back to their community. Encouraging participation in the Arts is just as important, for there is no prerequisite for enjoying art.

Training requirements depend on your level of commitment. If you are interested in presenting as a special guest, no training is needed; you can simply call and set up a time to come. If you would like to volunteer as a teacher multiple times a month, training is required. Interested parties should contact Matt Weaver 208 765 5105.
