Volunteer Opportunity Details:

We mail over 500 copies of a monthly newsletter and we need assistance with processing the newsletter once it is printed. This usually takes 6-8 man hours per month. The times and dates vary depending on when the newsletter is finished at the print shop. We try to do this during the first or second week of each month. The copies of the newsletter need to be taped on two sides. A postal form needs to be completed for the bulk mailing. Then the pre-printed mailing labels need to be attached then the boxes of newsletters will be taken to the Hayden Post Office.

Yes - training is required to learn how to fill out the postal form.
Limitations - one lady who worked on this process had problems with her carpel tunnel because of the taping.
Must be able to life boxes of newsletters, approx 20-30 pounds.
