Volunteer Opportunity Details:

Looking for a way to spread holiday cheer this season without breaking the bank? How about giving the gift of your time? PAS needs volunteers to make our Parent’s Shopping Day Out a success! No experience necessary to come and have a good time with a fun group of kids! You may volunteer for all or part of the day!
The Parent’s Shopping Day Out event is a time set aside for families with children with disabilities to drop off their special needs child and siblings for a fun day of crafts, movies, games and entertainment. The parents then have free time available to enjoy a day of shopping, lunch or coffee with friends, catch a movie or just relaxing at home knowing that their child(ren) are having fun and being cared for.
The Parent's Shopping Day Out will be Saturday, December 5th from 10:00AM to 3:00PM at St. Pius X Church (625 East Haycraft in Coeur d'Alene).

No experience necessary - most volunteers will be paired with one or two children for the day. Lots of fun activities will be available to keep kids busy!

From I-90, take Exit 13, turn onto 4th Street and head North (AWAY from the downtown area). You will come to the intersection of Appleway/Best and 4th Street - go straight through this intersection continuing on 4th Street. Take your first right turn onto Haycraft and follow it east for 3 blocks and the church will be on your left.
