Mission: Helena Food Share serves our neighbors in need by providing food in a respectful and dignified way and by working with others to eliminate hunger in the greater Helena Area.

Description:
Helena Food Share's core program is the provision of groceries, at no cost, to anyone requesting assistance. This program operates five days per week throughout the year. There are over 2000 visits per month for this program. Helena Food Share also has several specialized and targeted programs. These include the Senior Commodities and Farmers' Market Coupon Programs for low income seniors, the Kids Feed N Fun Program during the summer, and special holiday food distributions.

History:
Helena Food Share is a private non-profit, non-sectarian agency governed by a local Board of Directors. The agency was created in 1987 and moved into its current location in 2000.
