Award winning St. Peter’s Hospital is a state-of-the art medical facility serving approximately 80,000 people in Helena and the surrounding area. The Hospital is known for employing the most talented and experienced team of professionals dedicated to compassionate care for all members of the community.

St. Peter’s employs over 950 people, including 126 physicians representing approximately 30 different specialties. Our highly specialized services include all areas except open heart surgery and neonatal.

St. Peter’s Hospital welcomes volunteers to assist patients, visitors and staff. Our volunteers realize tremendous self-satisfaction from helping others. Volunteering at St. Peter's Hospital is an excellent way to meet new friends, learn new skills, and discover how one person can make a difference in another’s life.

History:
St. Peter's Hospital was established in 1883 by the Montana Episcopal Diocese. It has undergone many changes over the years including two additions and a new medical arts office building across the street. The hospital has been at its present location at 2475 Broadway since 1968.
