Volunteer Opportunity Details:
| Last updated on October 14, 2009 |
Classroom volunteers assist the teaching staff in daily tasks such as projects, mealtime, and outdoor play. Tasks can vary from helping children zip coats to reading books and building in the block area. RMDC Head Start classrooms are located throughout Helena, East Helena, Townsend and Whitehall. All classroom volunteers will receive training on classroom policies and procedures. Because RMDC Head Start is funded through a Federal Grant and a licensed facility, all persons working in the classroom must complete a Release of Information for a Background Check, sign a statement of health, provide proof of immunizations, and provide references. This opportunity is sponsored by: Rocky Mountain Development Council Head Start
