Volunteer Opportunity Details:
| Last updated on October 26, 2009 |
After completing a Tutor Training course of 15 hours, you are then matched with a student. Many of our former and current tutors state how rewarding this experience is. Not only do they improve their student's lives by providing them with the literacy, life and reading skills they need to succeed, but the students themselves inspire the tutors. Often we hear tutors say "this is the best thing I have ever done with my life" Potential Tutors must complete 15 hour Tutor Training course. Tutors must be 18 years of age. Throughout the year our program may need help with media outreach and fund raising. This opportunity is sponsored by: Lewis & Clark Literacy Council
