The Center for the Visual Arts is an independent membership-based, non-profit visual arts organization dedicated to art education and the exhibition of local and regional art. Our mission is to promote and sustain the creation and the appreciation of the visual arts in the greater Wausau area.

Description:
The Center for the Visual Arts maintains year-round exhibitions in two galleries open to the public, free of charge. The CVA hosts and participates in numerous art-related activities in the Wausau area. Affordable adult and children's art classes are offered to the public and vary by season. The CVA Gift Shop sells artwork created by more than 190 regional artists and a few retail items.
