The Wisconsin Veterans Home at King is a state operated facility for Wisconsin Veterans and their spouses located on the shores of Rainbow Lake in King, Wisconsin. It is one of the largest and most independent skilled long-term care facilities in the United States, with approximately 700 members who call King their Home. The Wisconsin Veterans Home at King realizes the importance of activities and recreation for all members. Opportunities at the Home include: meal outings, bus trips, fishing, pontooning, bowling, woodshop and ceramic design, and mini golf to list just a few.. 300 volunteers from veteran, civic organizations, and local communities assist staff in providing these engaging activities.
