Current openings include some daytime hours (8-12 or 12 - 4) 4 - 6pm on Thursday. and weekend hours. This is a great opportunity for everyone that loves to shop! The atmosphere in the shop is welcoming, open and refreshing. A unique blend of inventory appeals to all ages. The store is a wonderful place to provide a friendly smile and a welcome distraction. The Gift Shop Volunteer will assist customers in the gift shop and/or resource center. Will perform cashier tasks and gift wrapping, help to keep the display areas clean and assist with handling inventory and displaying merchandise. Specific job duties will depend on the volunteer’s interest.

Volunteer must be at least 14, flexible, pleasant and maintain a professional manner. The successful volunteer will be customer service focused, friendly and courteous. Each volunteer must maintain a professional appearance, be comfortable with the computerized cash register after training and have the ability to use the phone after training. A flare for displaying merchandise is an asset. Volunteers will be able to work independently or with another volunteer after training/job shadowing. Computer knowledge helpful. A completed employee health requirement, the volunteer orientation and department training are necessary to start in this position. Volunteer must be able to commit to a min. of 1 time per week.
