| October 29th - November 14th When faced with hardships, the purchase of basic essentials such as soap and toothpaste, can be viewed by many as unaffordable luxuries. These very basic needs can have a drastic impact on self-esteem and the ability to overcome hardship. Back to Basics is a new project of United Way Volunteer Connection. B2B is the collection and distribution of toiletry items to organizations such as Salvation Army, Women’s Community, and North Central Health Care. All items must be unopened and unused and can be travel, sample or full size. Donations can be brought to the following locations: United Way at 137 River Drive M&I Bank at 500 3rd Street Center for Visual Arts at 427 North 4th Street Curves at 5404 Schofield Ave in Weston Help impact someone’s life by donating what you can. Every item donated helps someone in need in a multitude of ways.
