THANK YOU FOR VOLUNTEERING! 

United Way Volunteer Connection would like to extend a special thank you to all of the 526 volunteers who helped wrap gifts during the 2008 holiday season for United Way's Bundles of Joy. 

It took 1,140 volunteer hours to wrap gifts from November 28 through December 24.  With your help we were able to raise $7,018.16 to purchase diapers and formula for struggling families in Marathon County.  That means that for every hour a volunteer spent gift wrapping, they raised $6.16 for this much needed program.  Even if you spent as little as 2 hours gift wrapping, your time gave a family in need, on average, 2 entire packages of diapers!  

The effort and dedication of all of the volunteers truly proves what a great community we live in.  Thank you again for your support and we hope to see you again next year!
