United Way Volunteer Connection WE Awards honor those who give their time, share their talents, and put WE  before ME  to make a better life in Marathon County.   

ELIGIBILITY

An individual or group active in volunteer efforts may be nominated for service done in 2008-2009.

The volunteer(s) must have served an organization within Marathon County. 

NOMINATING PROCEDURES

Nomination forms must be received by Volunteer Connection no later than 5 PM on April 1, 2009.

Individuals or groups may nominate more than one individual or group.  Self-nominations will be accepted. 

Nominations may be submitted by mail, fax or email.

The Volunteer Recognition Review Committee's decision is final and all nominations become the property of the United Way Volunteer Connection and will not be returned. 

Selected winners will be honored during National Volunteer Week (April 19-25) with a VISA gift card courtesy of River Valley State Bank, a gift basket, a gift card donated to the organization of their choice courtesy of Target, and a certificate of appreciation. 

Award winners must permit the use of their stories and photographs for media and promotional purposes.
