It is the Mission of Arc Mower County to secure for all people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families the opportunity to choose and realize their goals of where and how they live, learn, work and play.
Description:
Arc Mower County provides advocacy, information and referral services to any individual with intellectual and developmental disabilities and or their families. We provide recreational opportunities in the Mower County area to all ages through Special Olympics, and Our Place Recreation Center. We offer Sibshops (for siblings of children with disabilities), and Camperships for individuals to attend a summer camp or vacation.
History:
Arc Mower County has been in the community since 1952 providing services to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
