The Mower County C.A.R.E. Council (Children are the Responsibility of Everyone) are looking for volunteers who wish to help in the area of child abuse prevention and education through community events.
As a member of the C.A.R.E. Council you will attend once monthly meetings to help plan events that occur throughout the year. The Mower County C.A.R.E. Council holds their annual "Halloween Fun Fest" at the Oak Park Mall, and the "Hometown Heroes" softball game in August. They collaborate with other agencies at the Week of the Young Child in April, and The Cultural Heritage Festival in September.
We can end child abuse in our lifetime. Come join us! For more information contact Lynn Spainhower at 507-434-2160.
