Description:
The AVANCE-Dallas core program delivers Parenting and Early Childhood Development classes to low income neighborhoods throughout Dallas County.
Support services to participants include ESL/GED classes, Resource and Referral as well as Emergency Assistance and Case Management.

History:
AVANCE-Dallas, Inc. officially opened it's doors in October of 1996. It provided the Core Parent/Child program to families in a West Dallas neighborhood through space provided by a partnership with the Dallas ISD at Lorenzo de Zavala Elementary School.
Since that time, under the continuous vision and guidance of our Executive Director, Lisa Oglesby Rocha, AVANCE-Dallas, Inc. has grown to 24 sites, all in partnership Dallas ISD,
AVANCE-Dallas has been fortunate to receive widespread community recognition over the years.
